Interested in submitting to History Australia? We recommend that you review the About the Journal pages for the journal's section policies, as well as the Author Guidelines.

1) Register and log in

Authors need to register with the journal's online site prior to submitting - please ensure you tick the 'Author' role as part of the registration process.

If you are already registered with this journal, please log in, then click 'My Profile' to confirm that you have ticked the 'Author' role attached to your registration.

(If you do not have the 'Author' role attached to your registration and you are unable to tick this role, please email the editors of History Australia, who will need to allocate the'Author' role for you.)

2) The five step upload process

After logging in, click 'User Home' from the top navigation bar. This will take you to your personal home page within the site, that lists the journals you have subscribed to and the roles (such as author, reader, etc) that you have within these journals.

Under the heading 'My Journals', click on the link 'Author' and follow the five-step upload process to upload your contribution.

Please note that there is a maximum file size of 2mb; files larger than this are unlikely to upload.

If you are unable to submit through the above process, please email your contribution to the editors of History Australia.
